Alice is a small fasion forwards party animal, she insists Bella enjoy the centre of attention at all times and is Bella's best friend, she is a phycic and often described as the most anoying/wonderful person on the planet. She has a special touch that makes everything magical. She loves a party. She became a vampire because, when she lived in the mental assuleum, a vampire called James decide to feed on her, a vampire who worked at the assuleum however decided that he cared too much for her to allow this to happen. He stole her from the place and made her a strong new vampire. James had then no reason to touch her, he killed the old one instead. Alice had been in so much pain in the assuleum that the pain of transformation did not matter. When she awoke she was all alone and could remember nothing of the transformation nor of her old life. Her sights showed her that she would find the Cullens along with her soul mate Jasper. This foresight was the reason she didnt become a complete savage. She found Jasper in a bar and led him to the Cullens. The Cullens were shocked when she turned up, greeted them all by name and asked what room they could move into. Emmett and Edward had been away hunting and when they returned Edward found all his things in the garage. Alice and Jasper were the last members of the Cullen family until Bella came along.

Jasper is the newest to the family until Bella, he had a completly different upbringing to his adoptive siblings and finds it harder than the others to abstain from human blood. He is in actual fact the second eldest of the Cullens though did not join the Cullens until he was one hundred and thirteen year of age. He lived in the south, in Mexico, he joined the army at the age of seventeen and soon became the youngest general out there. After three years he was found by three vampires called Maria, Nessie and Lucy. Maria was the leader, they had recently lost their land in the war that had caused the volturi to erase the newborn armies, she was raiseing an army to get back her land. She changed Jasper and trained him with about twenty others. He quickly excelled and she found his talent useful. She was his faveorite. Within eighteen months all but him that had been trained together were dead. When they outgrew the strenth of a newborn they were disposed of, and of corse many died in battle. They took back Maria's land but she wanted more, they spread their hand over other places. Some battles they won, others they didnt. Eventually Lucy and Nessie turned on Maria, that one they won. Jasper was tireing of hunting humans, he was depressed by this life. Maria could see this and resented him for this. Jasper was getting rid of the useless vampires one day when his one friend Peter reacted strangly, he saved the girl Jasper had to kill and they fled. A few years later, Peter returned with the girl, Charlotte, they said they were living a life away from the war and they were happy. Jasper didnt know any life without war, and he wanted it, he walked away from Maria without a backwards glance. He traveled with Peter and Charlotte but hunting humans still made him depressed due to the fact that his gift alowed him to know how they were feeling, it made it too real and thus pushed him further towards depression. His mood was affecting Peter and Charlotte so he left them. They are still in touch. He tried to abstain from human blood but hunger always drove him back. One night, he slipped into a human bar. His eyes were dark enough for him to pass as human. Alice hopped down from a stall and took his hand, she said he had kept her waiting a long time and together they went to the Cullens.

When she was younger she had wanted a big house and a rich handsom husband that would love her and lots of children that she could raise with her husband. When she was eighteen she got engaged to a rich man called Royce King. He was good looking and proud. He liked to buy her things and to take her out so people would see her with him. After about a month she was walking home when she came across Royce and some of his friends in the street. They were drunk. They left her bleeding in the gutter to die. Carlisle had been out when he smelt the blood. He went to her and picked her up. He then ran with her to his home. He ran with such speed that she believed she was dead. He saved her life by making her the forth of his family. She later got revenge on her killers. She killed the friends in the hope of making Royce know what he had done and what was comeing for him. On the day, he was hidden behing a safe door two metres thick. She wore a wedding dress as she did the deed. She killed him in revenge. Later, she rescued Emmett from the bear and found in him everything she had ever wanted. She still longs for a child even though it is the one thing a vampire can never have.

Jacob was a boy when his mother died in a carcrash. His dad was also put in a wheelchair due to the same accident. His elder two sisters are barely home. His eldest is married in Hawiwi and the other is at university. Jacob did not have many restraint in life and found that he could talk about anything with his father. When he was sixteen he turned into a werewolf. This is a genetical thing that skipped the generation of Jacobs father. It was triggered when the vampires returned to Forks. The vampires are the natural enemy of the werewolf. They had a treaty due to the fact that the Cullens had obviously a different diet to other vampires. There would be no war as long as the vampires did not enter quiliete land nor bite another human. In return the Quilietes would not tell the humans about them. The Cullens and werewolves came into contact three times. Once when it was just Carlisle. Then when there was Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Rosalie and Emmett. This was when the treaty was installed. Then when Alice and Jasper had joined them. Jacob fell in love with Bella and thus sustained much heartbreak in life until he imprinted upon Renesmee.

Charlie Swan Edit

Charlie is the chief of police in Forks. He is also the father of Issabella Swan. He loves her very dearly. When her mother left him and took baby Bella with her, she still sent Bella down to Forks for two weeks in the summer every year. This ended when Bella was twelve and kicked up about always being left with Billy Blacks elder daughters while he and her father went fishing. When Bella moved down to live with him in Forks he was overjoyed. When she began seeing Edward he was neutral towards Edward (as good as any girl can hope for with boyfriend/dad relationships). However when the James accident left Bella in A&E, he blamed Edward for causeing her to leave Forks. However he came to worship Carlisle gratefully due to the fact that Carlisle had saved Bella's life. Charlie disliked Edward by this point. Later on when Edward left Bella and she began her spiral down, Charlie absolutly loathed Edward and this continued when he returned. As time went on Charlie tried to like Edward more. As it was he already liked Carlisle and absolutly adored Alice. However when it was reveileved that Edward and Bella were to be married. This effort ended imediatly. However in time, after Bella had become a vampire. Charlie knew of the werewolves and had come up with his own theory about the vampires. He began to forgi ve the Cullens and Bella for lieing to him. Though he was not even then all that fond of Edward.

Renesmee Cullen Edit

Renesmee is the daughter of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Concieved while her mother was human and her father a vampire. This makes Renesmee a half vampire. She is one of five in existence and the only on that has a surviving mother. She is a happy child who grows amazingly fast. She will reach maturity in less than seven years and then she will never age again. She brings joy to all that meet her and is impossible not to love. Though in Breaking Dawn when false charges are made that she is an immortal child (human infant made a vampire) the Volturi come to enialate her and the Cullens. It is only the friends of the Cullens who gather to protect and wittness the fact that Renesmee is no immortal child that saves them. The Volturi would have attacted but for the werewolves and the fact that Bella's gift terrified them. She is the subject of Jacobs imprinting which means he is bound to her in a way stronger than any other. It makes them soul mates in a way. But it is not nessessarily love. Jacob then lives his life for her and to make her happy he would do anything.

Aro is the leader of the Volturi, though this is not official he is most involved in buissness and the guard seem to follow his orders above all others. Aro is enthusiastic and thrilled by near to anything. He treats all like old friends even those he barely knows or who he does not get on with. He is imformal when addressing others. He wears the black robes that the Volturi elders all wear. He is also married to Sulpicia and with a single touch can learn every thought that has ever run through a persons mind. Therefore learning all about them even if they do not wish it. When he learnt Edwards thoughts he learnt everybody elses due to the fact that Edward was also a type of mind reader though subsequently less powerful and less limited that Aro.

Caius is the strictest of the Volturi leaders. He enjoys punishment and can be called sadistic. He is not as cunning as Aro and unlike Aro he does not care much for the reputation of the Volturi. He would rather just get the job done than waste time with profarities like Aro. He is married to Athenodora. He has no supernatural talent for which the Volturi guard is notorious for. A couple of millenia ago he lost a fight with a werewolf. This resulted in him immediatly mistrusting and despicing all children of the moon and shapeshifters like Jacob and his pack.

Marcus is a bit on the fringe. Though included in all buissness and treated with the same amout of respect and loyalty that the other Lords are, he often finds the work boring and in his two apearances in the books he is described as being utterly bored. He rarely takes any part in evidence and is not involved in anyhthing but the final vote. Marcus's wife Didyme was killed many millenia ago. Marcus looks like he has seem too many millenia of Aro's enthusiasm to take much interest. He has the talent of senceing relationships and bonds between people. This is magnified by Chealsee. Between them. He can sence where a relationship between two people may be trouble and Chealsee can afect it by either strenthening or weakening their bonds to each other. He is said to have tired of the antics of the Volturi and he and his wife had tried to leave. Alec and Jane, to whome the pair were very close to were to have been leaving with them. However the Volturi Lord and his small famliy could not be permitted to leave. Didyme was killed, some say by another member of the Volturi. He and the twins are still with the Volturi. Though some say Marcus is still trying for freedom and that the twins will follow him if he ever leaves.

This changed over the years and the men the loved lived. Tanya is considered the head of the coven that is her sisters and their friends Eleazer and Carmen. Tanya has never found a man in her life that she wants to stay with. She took an interest in Edward though he turned her down. Tanya has not really minded the fact that she never found a mate due to the fact that she has such a close family with her sisters, Carmen, Eleazer and the Cullens.

They are also the only other vegetarian coven besides the Cullens in existence. Kate herself is talented in the way that she can run an electric current over her skin. This meant that if she wished it, she could put any vampire that touched her flat on his back and stop the heart of any creature. This makes her a potentially leathal fighter. She and her sisters were alone for a very long time mate-wise. They had flings with human men but never a relationship with a man. After the confrontation with the Volturi however, Gareth, a lone wandering vampire who got on well with everybody confessed to Kate that he would follow her anywhere.

Irina is the last Denali sister. One of the original succubus, she lost her mother in an incedent with an imortal child. Irina and her sisters were left with a healthy respect for the law. Irina like her sisters had been without a man for a very long time. However when Laurent joined their coven she fell in love with him and later held a grudge against the wolves who killed him in Bella's defence. She at one time wanted to take revenge upon the wolves in trade for their help in fighting an army Victoria had created to kill the Cullens and Bella. Carlisle refused the offer. Irina later came to appologize to the Cullens. She came down to Forks but saw Bella and Jacob and Renesmee playing in a field. She mistook Renesmee for an immortal child and went to the Volturi, the Volturi decided to come and wipe out the threat. When it became apparent that Irina was wrong, Caius killed her.

Carmen Edit

Carmen is a kind Spanish vampire who takes an immediate likeing to Renesmee. She convinces the rest of the Denali coven to hear Edward and Bella out about their daughter. Carlisle once said that Carmen and Eleazer were such compassionate and kind hearted people that even if they had not met the Denali sisters they would have probaly found a way to live without human blood on their own anyway. They were decribed by Bella as- 'The other woman and the man next to her were both black haired, with a hint of an olive tone to their chalky complections.' The man next to her was Eleazer, her husband.

Eleazer is, like his wife Carmen, a particularly compassionate vampire. He is like Carmen spanish and once belonged to the Volturi. He was not a warrior like most members and never fought in a battle with them. He had a talent that Aro found useful. Eleazer could sence other vampires talents. He would relay this imformation dirrectly to Aro. This meant that Aro knew if there was someone they were up against that had a talent that would hinder the Volturi. This also meant that Aro knew if a person had a talent he wished to posess. Aro would pardon the person and say that their thoughts were particuly repetant. Then he would offer the person a place in the Volturi. The person would often be so honoured that they agreed. It was rare that anyone ever refused the offer. When Eleazer found Carmen he decided to leave the Volturi and go with her.

James was a tracker. He was also a hunter. He chose his prey carefully and then he followed them. He played games with them. Terrorised them. He enjoyed the thrill and challenge of the game. The harder it was to get his prey the better. He once chose a human girl called Mary Alice Brandon. She was stolen from the assalium in which was her home by a vampire that cared about her. He made her a strong young vampire so that James could not touch her. James killed the older vampire in vengence. Alice was the one human that had ever eluded him. James later chose Bella. He saw it as his most exciting game ever. A large coven of strong fighters all intent on protecting the weakest link. He came very close to killing her but the Cullens caught up with him just in time and killed him before he could harm Bella anymore. She had sustained a broken leg, a couple of her ribs were also broken. She was bleeding from her head and an artery in her leg had been severed. James also bit her. This meant that she should have been turned into a vampire then. But Edward was reluctant to let this happen. He sucked the venom out. He said he did not want to doom Bella to a life like his. That he would not rob her of her soul nor allow another to do so. Bella did not apriciate this. She wanted to be with Edward forever. She wanted to be a vampire and be a part of his family.

Victoria Edit

Victoria was known in the earlier books as James mate. She loved him and aided him when he hunted Bella. When he was killed she disapeared. However when the Cullens left she tried to kill Bella in revenge agaist Edward for him killing James. She saw it as equal, a mate for a mate. She did not relise that Edward had left her.The only thing that stood between Bella and Victoria was Jake and his werewolf pack. They did not manage to kill Victoria,though it was not for lack of effort,they managed to keep her away from Forks and the Quiliete resevation. When the Cullens returned after that she raised an army of newborn vampires in order to combat the werewolves and the Cullens. This failed though she came face to face with Bella and Edward. Edward dispatched her in this encounted and thus Victoria became nortorious of her own acord, her activities dwarfing those of her mates though commited in the name of avvengence for her mate.

Laurent Edit

Laurent was the most civilized member of the coven of three that was James, Victoria and himslef. He was the established leader though James was in charge informaly. When James and Victoria hunted Bella, Laurent left them. He was intruged by the life the Cullens had and was going to go down to Denali to try it for himself. When he was there he fell in love with Irina and she returned his feelings. However as a favour to Victoria he decided to come back down to Forks in order to get the lay of the land for her. He was surprised that the Cullens had upsurped and moved away, even more so that they left Bella behind. He was hungry when he met Bella in the meadow. He told her he was so, that he would kill her. He told her that it wuld be kinder for him to kill her anyway. For when Victoria got ahold of Bella it would be far worse. He told her it was nothing personel. However before he could strike he was killed by Jacob and his pack. They pesued him through the forest before they caught him and killed him.

Leah Clearwater Edit

Leah is hard heated and spiteful, though with good reason. She was in love with Sam. They had been sweethearts since high school. When Sam turned into a werewolf, he imprinted on Leah's cousin, Emily. Sam left Leah for Emily and Leah has never forgiven him, though she still loves him. She is quoted in Breaking Dawn as saying that she does want to forget about Sam so that she can be happy again. She hates being a part of the pack and a part of Sams mind. She hates seeing herself through him eyes, she does not want him to be annoyed with her. She especially does not want his pity. Sam was sorrowful for what he has done for Leah and often gives the other wolves crap if they are cruel to her. Leah also has trouble with the fact that she is twenty years old and infirtile due to the fact of her being the only female werewolf in existence, indeed in history. She has trouble with this. She believes their is something wrong with her. She says that is why she is a wolf. She also says Sam was not attracted to her for imprinting because she was no good for passing on the wolfen genes.

Sam is the head of the pack of werewolves. He was the first to turn. When he turned he didnt know what was happening. He was scared and confused. This is a feeling mirrored by each and every one of the werewolves. It was worse for Sam due to the fact that he was the first. There was nobody to help him and tell him what was happening to him. Sam disapeared into the woods. He was not seen for two weeks until he was able to calm down and shift back to his human form. While he was away his mother and Leah, who was his girlfriend at the time, had all the park rangers looking for him. When he returned he woulod not tell anybody what had happened to him. People were saying he had been up to no good. When Quil Atera Senior came down to visit Sams mother, Sam shook his hand. Quil nearly had a stroke when he felt how hot Sams hand was. Sam was running a temperature and Quil relised what was happening immediatly. He told the other elders and they explained everything to Sam. Sam was later joined by Jared and Paul. Then Embry, Jacob and Quil. The pack continued growing to about eighteen. Sam was the eldest so he was the pack member. Though by lineage Jacob should have been the Altha. Though when Sam offered Jake refused to take the position. Thus Sam remained in charge. The Altha can force the other werewolves to do his will when they are werewolves and he uses the Altha command. That is how he makes sure the werewolves do not reveal the fact that they are werewolves, he creates an injuction so that they cannot tell anyone. He does this by telling them that they cannot tell anybody about the werewolves. He often feels sorry for Leah due to the fact that he was once her boyfriend, he then imprinted on her close cousin Emily and started dating her. He broke Leah's heart and has never forgiven himself. Emily is the cosin of Leah Clearwater. They were close. Close as sisters. Then Sam imprinted on Emily. Emily was furrious but it was hard to resist that level of comitment and addoration. She eventually caved and she loved Sam in return. Leah has never forgiven her. Emily is also scared from finger tip to hareline by three ugly scares. This came about when Emily and Sam were having an argument. Sam got too angry and morphed by mistake. He was standing too close to Emily. He never forgave himself. Embry Call Edit

Embry and Quil are Jacobs best friends. Embry was the first of the friends to turn. He never knew his father. His mother moved down to the reservation when she was pregnant with him. Everyone thought she had left his father in another village. Then he joined the pack. That meant that there were three possibilities for his father. Sams father, Billy Black, and Quil Ateara senior. That means that either, Jacob, Sam of Quil has a half brother they never knew about. They all like to think it is Sam due to the fact that his father was never much of a father. His mother does not know that he is a werewolf. She thinks he is going through a rebelious stage. He is contanly grouded, then he sneaks out, and is grounded again.

Paul Edit

Paul is the most volotile member of the pack. The smallest thing will set him off and he will morph into the wolf form. He and Jared were the next to join the pack after Sam. They called themselves the protectors. The first time the book mentioned Paul's unstableness was when Jacob first took Bella to meet with the other werewolves. Paul lost control and Jacob and Sam had to morph to calm him down while Jared and Embry took care of Bella. There was a short convesation between Embry and Jared in which Embry said about Paul "well you dont see that everyday." Jared replied that he did, every single day. To which Embry disagreed that Paul didnt lose his temper everyday.Mabey two out of three. Paul also lost control when the werewolves and Cullens were hunting Victoria while keeping the treaty boundries in mind. Victoria was described to dance along the line like reading from a map. What followed was read as Emmett took a lunge at Victoria but Victoria moved. Emmett flew past her, across the line and into Paul. Paul lost control and then everyone was procting their comrades. A fight was only avoided because Carlisle and Jasper calmed everybody down. When Paul imprinted on Jacobs older sister, he mellowed and became less volotile. This annoyed Jacob at first but was good in the long run.

Quil went through a hard time when Jacob and Embry turned into werewolves and stopped talking to him. They were his best friends and he was worried about them. He was scared that whatever had happened to change his friends would happen to him as well. However when he turned himself, he thought it was the coolest thig ever. He was thrilled to finally be in o nthe secret and to have his friends back. He thought being a werewolf was awesome.

Jane is a little girl who was changed at the age of eleven. She was changed along with her twin brother Alec. They were orphans that were changed by the Volturi who were at the time a reletivly small coven consisting of the Lords and wives and a couple of others. Aro of the Volturi had taken and interest in the twins a few years prior to their change when they had been passing through the village where they lived. They had decided to wait until the twin were older as nobody wanted to be responsible for an immortal child. However at the age of eleven they were accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake. The Volturi rescued them and changed them as they were too close to death to survive as humans. The Volturi massacred the village for both the reason that they could not be allowed to live after what they had witnessed and because Aro was so angry about the burning or Alec and Jane. When changed, the twin found that they experianced what all vampires experiance, the taste of air, the acute sences and the amazine strenth and speed. They also found that they both controled the power of illusion. Jane could hurt people with her mind. She could trick them into believiing they were going through the most horrific pain. This was very effective and made her a very formiddable person. Some may even say that she is sadistic about it. Jane soon rose through the ranks of the Volturi and became Aro's personal favourite.

Janes twin brother is like her eleven, small and incredibly beautiful. He can cut off a persons sences so that they can feel no pain. This is like the antidote to Janes gift. The down side of this gift is that it also renders the victim completly helpless so that they cannot defend themselfs from harm. It means they cannot hear, see, smell or touch. When the Volturi are feeling merciful they have Alec anethesis a person before they are exucuted. Like his sister, he was burnt at the stake at the age of eleven, thus the nickname they hold as the witch twins. Alec is like the antidote to his lethal sister. He can render her gift useless if he so wishes by the use of his. He would merely shut down the brain of the person or people he wished to protect. Jane's power would work on Alec though as he cannot do so to himself. Alec is in a way even more powerful than Jane. Though he is not sadistic like Jane, Alec holds the ability to incapacitate entire armies in a single instant.
